Here, you can write a brief introduction to your page. This engages your visitors and answers questions they may have about you.
Ever a traveler and always an adventurer, I hail from Amagansett, New York. I am a freelance writer and content creator driven by love for travel and cultural immersion.
With a background in branding and marketing, and passion for editorial, I collaborate with brands and cultural institutions. In my freelancing career, I have developed copy and content for campaigns, milestones and brand identities for companies local to New York and internationally in Europe and Asia. In my previous role in public relations, I helped drive two national mental health advocacy campaigns featuring a major celebrity through copywriting/developing content for web, video and brand voice: Be Vocal and The Mental Health Listening & Engagement Tour, as well as patient advocacy programs through organizing events and liaising with advocates.
My writing has appeared in Whalebone, Driftless, And North, Hamptons Art Hub, The Outdoor Journal, and the book, Building Small. As founding editor of Upward Magazine, I grew readership while managing an international team of writers and curating content for monthly digital issues and the first print release.
With a will to write, I set out with a compact SUV and a map to explore the U.S. by car, chronicling my travels on Maidstone Buttermilk, which garnered 15K readers and won recognition from Roadtrippers, Foursquare, and LoveSpringfield's Instagram account as a takeover host in Springfield, Missouri. Combining a love for storytelling, scouting, and when I can, getting my hands dirty refurbishing furniture discoveries, I run an online brand: Mo Import Co.
I devote free time to support cultural institutions and practice French and Italian. I hold a MA from the American University of Paris and a BFA from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts.
